 These Ferrari stickers are made of the highest quality vinyl. They
come in a flexible, laminated three layer construction.
The existing Honda stickers are easily removed with heated air, like from a heat-shrink
gun or even hair dryer. Just pry up a corner with finger nail and keep constant tension
while heating, it comes right off.
Then, clean the surfaces with Prep-Sol or an equivalent wax remover.
To install, just peel the smooth carrier backing off, this exposes the adhesive
backside of the letters.
Then carefully place the front carrier, with letters, on the surface and rub/press
the masked carrier firmly.
Then peel back the masked front carrier which leaves the letters on the surface in
perfect alignment. (Peel back upon itself as close as possible.)
On the tailpiece, it is suggested that a piece of 3/4" masking tape be
temporarily placed horizontally along the bottom of the surface to act as a guide insuring
alignment parallel to the tail light surfaces and top-to-bottom centering (so it all looks
square and not canted at an angle).
These are not just "close" to the Ferrari fonts, they are
"identical" and they exude class.
Legal sources tell me that their use is legal as long as:
1. The bike is not fraudulently represented as a Ferrari for sale, loan or barter
purposes, and;
2. Some form of the original manufacturers' identification is still readily evident, such
as the VIN plate by the forks.
These stickers are available from me (my source desires to remain underground) for
$49 per set of three. (Two 1-1/2" by 9" and one 1" by 6") This
includes certified postage in the US to you.
