Honda Marine Volt Meter |
| SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOS. Mitch's installation notes
here: I just completed the Honda Marine
Voltmeter install. (P/N 37450-ZW5-000ZA VOLT KIT $16 to $22) I installed it where the
headlight adjuster use to live. I NEVER used the adjuster and as one of the listers
mentioned, its a logical place for it (was that you Jeff B?) I had a VFR and Its a great
bike but prone to reg/rec failures. A voltmeter can tell you if the regulator is trending
up or down. With that paranoia, I wanted a voltmeter on my ST. I purchased a lcd voltmeter
that was mentioned on the list. It came from a company that sells aftermarket farkles for
Ducati (hint hint hint). It installed easy, took power from the fan motor circuit, it
being switched and easy to get to. The mfg. said it was "water resistant" so I
silicone sealed it just to be sure. Needless to say the soaking at Bandera Tx. killed the
little puppy. It looked kinda cheeze stuck to the dash also. Why would I expect a
aftermarket item made for a Ducati, mfg. in China to work??????? oh well. |
