FORWARD-MOUNTED HIGHWAY PEGS |
| A clean-looking forward-footpeg system for all year
model STs (with or without ABS). Built first class (like an ST) and made to laST,
these pegs will make your next trip MUCH more enjoyable. For all STeed riders, particularly those using Heli-Bars and/or risers to sit up straighter, these highway pegs let you get your feet forward in a more relaxed position for remarkable long-distance comfort. Add a backrest or support behind you, and you have the ideal setup. Then when it's time to hit the curves, just fold the pegs back in with your feet (no need to stop), and turn it loose (no ground clearance problems). The peg system mounts underneath, not on top of, the engine guard tipover wings and the pegs fold in easily when not needed. Inside each wing, a specially-designed steel support bracket clamps to the frame tubes, giving the footpegs themselves a solid mounting point.
